Rely on the 3M™ 8430 Cold Shrink Connector Insulator to insulate all solid dielectric insulated wires and cable splices, including secondary splices. The moisture-tight sealing of this insulator makes it ideal for use underground in direct buried or submersible dig-in repairs, as it's designed to maintain pressure and resiliency under these conditions. This cold shrink insulator is ANSI Certified and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant and provides reliable physical protection of high-voltage, air-insulated lugs and connectors. It comes in a diameter range of 1.68 to 3.69 in, and provides environmental sealing for nonelectrical applications such as communication lines.
