COVID-19 Statement
Dear Customers,
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, I want to assure you that the health and safety of our customers, manufacturers, and employees is our top priority. At Hill Electric Supply Co. Inc. and Dale Electric Supply Co., we have the processes and practices in place to provide uninterrupted business operations. Our commitment to supply quality materials in a timely manner remains unfazed.
We are modifying day-to-day business operations, closely following the recommendations set forth by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This includes taking the immediate action of suspending all employee contact with manufacturer representatives and limiting contact with customers and other employees until further notice. While our preference is to meet with our customers face-to-face, we believe that suspending face-to-face contact is imperative to ensure everyone’s safety.
To limit face-to face-contact, we strongly request that your orders be sent via email, phone, or fax. We can have your order delivered or available for pickup. Email: customerservice@dale-electric.com Phone: 518-793-3436 Fax: 518-793-4467
We have enhanced our cleaning procedures and are limiting the sharing of equipment among employees. Employees have access to disposable gloves and cleaning supplies at their work areas. We are currently evaluating our telework capabilities and will implement new policies as soon as possible. Drivers have been instructed to drop off packages, take pictures of the delivery, and sign on behalf of customers to prevent unnecessary contact. In addition, customers and employees that are experiencing symptoms of a respiratory infection will be asked to leave the premises.
We believe these measures will help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and keep our community safe. During this time, you can confidently expect the same quality products and high level of service from our team.
To date, we have only seen minor disruptions from our suppliers. In most cases, we have been able to source similar items from alternative manufacturers. We are told by our suppliers that affected products will be replenished over the next 6 weeks.
As new developments emerge regarding COVID-19, we will share information with you about how we continue to operate safely and effectively. In the meantime, we encourage you to visit CDC’s website for more information about COVID-19.
