Some electrical connections require a strong layer of mechanical protection while ensuring easy re-entry, and the 8-mil thick Scotch® Tape 2520 does just that. It supports dielectric connections while staying intact and resistant to abrasion, punctures and scraping. This insulating tape stays in place after application with its pressure-sensitive rubber-resin adhesive. The backing is made of woven cotton cambric fabric, and it's oil-primed and varnished with electrical-grade insulating varnish. Thie tape is RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
