Simply install the connector on a copper or aluminum cable, place it in the closure and snap closed. The splice kit is watertight for use in all locations. Sealing and corrosion protection provided by sealant gel. Qualified to ANSI C119.1-1986 for underground splicing. Insulate and seal buried electrical connections rated up to 1,000 volts. Rated -40 degrees C to 90 degrees C (-40 degrees F to 194 degrees F)..
