The sealant gel protects the connection from moisture ingress, corrosion and pollution. The hinged splice closure can be installed over the connector in seconds by simply snapping the cover shut. Qualified to ANSI C119.1-1986 for underground splicing. Rated -40 degrees C to 90 degrees C.
