It has a butted-seam barrel that is covered by a funnel-designed, rigid-molded, polyvinyl chloride sleeve to guide the wire into position. The vinyl-sleeve insulation is abrasion-resistant and flared to ensure easy crimping. The terminal withstands temperatures of -40 to 221 degrees F (-40 to 105 degrees C).
