Sizing of the core and tube, along with the sealing mastic on each end, provides a broader application range without degrading the seal and insulating characteristics of the EPDM rubber tube. This insulator maintains its performance and protection for many years after your job is done. When used in storage and shipping conditions, it offers a tight seal and good thermal stability, and can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 to 194 degrees F (-40 to 90 degrees C).
