3M™ 5460 Series Molded Rubber QS II Cable Splice Kit includes 1 CI 1/0A connector, 1 porta pencil, 1 molded rubber splice body, 2 packets of silicone grease and 1 template. The splice body included in this kit is made of specially formulated, peroxide cured EPDM rubber to provide long term sealing. The computer aided design provides a compact size and optimal distribution of the electrical field. The splice provides accurate inspection of installation by the visual reference of splice positioning. This kit is perfect for inline splicing, direct burial installations, aerial installations and submerged locations. ANSI Certified and IEEE Approved.
