Insulate bolted inline connections of bus bars with this 3M™ BBI-4A Bus Bar Heat Shrink Tubing. This product is good for anyone who’s struggled with wire identification in the past thanks to its convenient color-coding. Damaging surges aren’t a concern when you use this tubing because it possesses a basic 110 kV insulation level that can stand up to them. Shrink this tube with standard techniques to provide protective insulation that looks good and lasts. It’s good for use with aluminum or copper bus bars, bus bars enclosed in metal, substation switchgear and metal-clad switchgear. This product can be used in temperatures ranging between -67 to 230 degrees F (-55 to 110 degrees C), and it’s ASTM, IEC, ANSI, IEEE Approved and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant for quality and safety.
